The Sherwood bespoke is a made to measure design, made by hand locally in Nottinghamshire and made from a versatile and naturally water resistant Swedish Redwood. The industry look is made with raw steel frame with a clear lacquer, all our steel and wood are not machined and will have the knocks and dints to add to the rustic feel. The rustic feel is also highlighted with our choice of wood with the features of all the knots and grains on show.
Swedish Redwood is a naturally light timber and can be stained with a number of colours to suit your interior. The timber is stained in the colour required using a hard wax and finished with a food safe oil to protect the table. Redwood is a strong and high resistant wood towards moisture, decay and insects with a smooth to touch finish and visible grains and knots.
Mild Steel is used for the legs with a clear lacquer finish for protection. It is durable, versatile and easy to clean. Mild steel is water resistant too and can withstand high pressure/weight. Meaning this is a piece of furniture that will last a life time. All leg frames come coloured in a dark anthracite grey.
There are 3 different leg shapes available:
The wood is stained using Fiddes Hard Wax, which comes in a variety of colours. We strongly advise you visit our store to see the sample colours we have, therefore a member of our staff will contact you upon order to confirm the colour required.
